Richard has been a Business & HR solicitor for over 30 years. He began his career at Slaughter and May before moving into senior in-house legal roles in the telecoms sector.

Clients turn to Richard for clear, commercially astute legal advice on important decisions, when facing difficult commercial situations and tough negotiations. He understands first-hand the commercial challenges faced by our clients and their businesses, having advised them for over 22 years and worked in business himself.

In previous roles Richard worked as the Legal Director of the UK telecoms network Neos Networks and also worked as an in-house lawyer at O2. At Neos Networks he helped raise over £50m of private equity investment and successfully sell the company to FTSE-100 listed SSE PLC. At O2 Richard negotiated many supplier and customer IT, mobile and media agreements and the England rugby sponsorship contract.
